The Blue Gold Game brought Notre Dame Spring football to a close -- FOXSportsNext Tim O'Malley and Beth Long recap the heated quarterback battle, and strengths and weaknesses of the Irish inside.

Notre Dame Spring football was culminated with Saturday's Blue Gold game.

In front of a crowd of more than 31,000 fans, the Irish defense came out on top of the offense 42-31.
