Schools throughout the southeast have been showing interest in the Milton teammates, but South Alabama became the first school to pull the trigger on Thursday.

"South Alabama was here to watch us workout this morning and they told our coach that they offered me and Josh Harris," Cory Helms told Scout.

Scout will have more on this in the near future.

Helms is a 6-foot-3, 290 pound interior offensive lineman that is best at center. Harris is a little taller at 6-feet, 4-inches tall, and his weight is about the same at 295 pounds. He could play tackle or guard.

They play at Milton High School in Alpharetta, Ga.

Chad Simmons is currently a National Recruiting Analyst for FOX Sports/Scout. He started with Scout in 2003 and then moved on to another Recruiting Service from 2004-2008 before returning to Scout the first of 2009 to become South Recruiting Manager.
