Over the years, I have seen more camps than I care to count, but never can I remember a player just showing up out of nowhere and making so many spectacular plays. Pittsburgh (Pa.) Perry Traditional Academy wide receiver/safety DaRon Clark did just that.
With two games going on at a time, you could never take your eyes off the field that Clark was on. You literally just never knew what he would do next.
In his teams last game, Clark made a leaping one handed grab and he just snatched the ball out of the air. There was an easy three-feet between his cleats and the ground. Clark landed out-of-bounds, but it didn't matter as the whole stadium erupted in cheers.
We spoke with Clark afterwards and he told us that he hasn't gotten a letter from any school to this point. He said he only played defense last season. We're anxious to see Clark this weekend at the PA Swag/IMG 7on7 to see if he can repeat last weekends performance.
