NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. -- The Goon Squad team that won the NLA East Regional 7on7 last weekend had its share of star players, but Carlos Thompson was the teams most consistent threat.

Manvel (Texas) wide receiver/cornerback Carlos Thompson was arguably the biggest reason why the Goon Squad got to the championship of the NLA East Regional 7on7 Tournament.

On Saturday, during pool play Thompson was the top receiving threat for the team. On Sunday, he carried the team early in the bracket play.

As well as Thompson played you'd expect him to have offers or interest from a number of schools, but that isn't the case. At this point, he has only heard from North Texas and Houston.
