Southern University is poised for a big 2012 campaign on the gridiron and the jaguar coaching staff is looking to make just as big of a splash on the recruiting trail with the Class of 2013.
One thing head coach Stump Mitchell and recruiting coordinator Chadwick Germany are doing is bringing some of the Bayou State’s top talent to campus on Saturday, along with some blue-chip out-of-state prospects, for the 1st annual “Jaguar Junior Day”.
In the past, Southern may not have gone after the top prospects in Louisiana as vigorously as it should but that has changed with Mitchell at the helm and with Germany overseeing recruiting.
Here are some of the prospects that are slated to be on campus on Saturday which shows just how serious the Jaguars are in getting back to the top of the SWAC.
