Raw Talent Sports: Jack Walz

Raw Talent Sports held a camp last Saturday in Cleveland, and several top underclassmen were in attendance. One of the more impressive athletes was Lakewood St. Edward 2014 prospect Jack Walz, who showed off his quick feet and good hands.

SCHOOL: Lakewood (OH) St. Edward.

CLASS: 2014 prospect.

SIZE: 6-foot, 190-pounds.

POSITION: Slot receiver and safety.

STRENGTHS: Quickness and good hands. Walz is an impressive athlete, and a player to track in the 2014 class in Ohio.

SOPHOMORE SEASON: "I played varsity as a backup safety and backup quarterback, and on all special teams. I did whatever they needed me to do, and I backed up several spots. I'm a smart football player, and I have good speed. I have been timed at 4.52 in the forty-yard dash."

THIS COMING SEASON: "They have big plans for me, as a slot receiver on offense, and also in the Wildcat package at quarterback. I will also be starting at safety, where I can be a voice for the defense, because of my intelligence."
