LSU offers Hawaii DL

Scott Pagano (Scout.com)

Not many 2013 prospects can say they have 25 standing FBS offers, but Scott Pagano is one of them. The 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive lineman from Moanalua High School in Hawaii was offered Sunday by LSU, making them the 25th program to offer Pagano a scholarship.

Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, Boise State, BYU, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Texas Tech, UCLA, UNLV, Utah, Washington and Washington State are the other schools to offer Pagano besides LSU.

Pagano told Scout.com's Greg Biggins this week that he plans a west coast summer tour to help him try and narrow his final recruiting list to five, if possible. He's going to try and visit Oregon, Oregon State, USC, UCLA, Stanford, California and Washington.

That doesn't mean Pagano plans on making an early decision. He had hoped to commit to a program before the season, but that was before he started receiving national offers. Now he plans on taking all five of his official visits before making his final decision.

Scout.com will see Pagano in person at the PIAA Combine May 26th at the Saint Louis School in Honolulu and will have a full update from Pagano on the recruiting process.
