Darling picks up second offer

Prairie Village (KS) Shawnee Mission East transfer quarterback Jordan Darling figures to be one of the top prospects in the state of Kansas when the 2012 season kicks off. A 6-foot-4, 230-pound flamethrower, Darling has long held an offer from the Kansas Jayhawks, and Monday picked up yet another offer from the Big 12.

Monday evening, Scout.com learned Kansas State had extended Jordan Darling a scholarship offer.

Known for his arm strength and abilities in the pocket, Darling is also a bruising runner who could provide Wildcats head coach Bill Snyder with much the same type of threat he has in current quarterback Collin Klein.

Check back with Scout.com for more Tuesday afternoon, following an interview with the big quarterback prospect.
