Quarterback:
Class of 2015 Elkton (Md.) Christian Academy David Sills may be the star of
this group. East Pennsboro (Pa.) quarterback Austin Wilson has picked up steam
over the past few weeks. Maryland commitment Shane Cockerille is a dual-threat
prospect, but he will have a chance to show off his arm at this event. Bishop
McNamara (Md.) prospect Milan Collins will have another chance to showcase his
throwing skills.
Bishop McDevitt (Pa.) Alex Werner could be the sleeper in this group. Corwin Cutler from Ocean Lakes (Va.) will be looking to show that he is not just an
athlete, but a legitimate quarterback prospect. Loyola Blakefield (Md.)
gunslinger Jake Clise had a solid showing in a recent 7on7 event, it will be
interesting to see how the lacrosse commitment does in this event..
Keep an eye on class of 2014 prospect Darius Wade from Middletown (Del.).
Wade had a very solid showing at the PA Swag/IMG 7on7 event at Plymouth
Whitemarsh. Another 2014 prospect to watch is Cedar Cliff (Pa.) lefty Andrew Ford.
Running Back:
There are a few very talented backs in this group led by Elkton (Md.)
Christian Academy standout Wendell Smallwood, Hermitage (Va.) four-star Derrick Green and Tottenville (N.Y.) rising star Augustus Edwards. The star of this
group though is Philadelphia (Pa.) Imhotep prospect David Williams.
There are also a few very talented underclassmen in this group including
Thadd Smith from Cardinal O'Hara, Mustaqueem Williams from Forest Park (Va.) and
Daquan Worley from Coatesville (Pa.). Class of 2015 standout John Reid from St.
Joseph's Prep is listed at running back, but we would assume that he will
workout at his customary cornerback position.
Wide Receiver/Tight End:
We'll start at the tight end position with Scout.com's No. 1 rated tight end
prospect in the nation Adam Breneman from Cedar Cliff (Pa.). Breneman has become
the unofficial spokesman for Penn State recruiting, so we are guessing he will
be all over some of these players on Saturday. Cam Serigne from Briar Woods
(Va.) also has a handful of offers at tight end.
Calvert Hall (Md.) two-way star Delando Johnson is listed with the receivers,
but we'd also expect to see him at safety. Johnson tore up the PA Swag/IMG 7on7
just a few weeks ago. St. Luke's (Conn.) standout Noel Thomas often flies under
the radar, but he is a very good player. Chandler Park (Mich.) wide receiver
Csont'e York is on the roster. He recently committed to Michigan and he blew up
after last weekends NFTC in Columbus. Elkton (Md.) Christian Academy's Dhameer Bradley may not be the biggest target at receiver, but he will make plays.
Roman Catholic (Pa.) receiver Will Fuller could last in the Scout.com Top 300
with another strong showing this weekend. Elkton (Md.) Christian Academy star
Jahmere Irvin-Sills is listed at receiver, but I would guess he will be on the
other side of the ball locking down receivers at cornerback. Bishop McDevitt
(Pa.) slot Brian Lemelle will be looking to make a name for himself outside of
Pennsylvania. Elkton (Md.) Christian Academy Daikiel Shorts also blew up at the
PA Swag/IMG 7on7 event, can he repeat that performance? Good Counsel (Md.) wide
receiver Andre Levrone is one of the top receivers in the state and the region.
Middletown (Del.) receiver Chris Godwin and Elkton (Md.) Christian Academy
receiver Freddy Canteen are two of the top playmakers from the East Region in
the class of 2014.
Offensive Line:
McDonough (Md.) lineman Na'Ty Rodgers always shines at these events and we
expect that he will this time as well. Another player who has built a name for
himself at camps is Elkton (Md.) Christian Academy's Khaliel Rodgers. Muhlenburg
(Pa.) guard Zach Duffy is as tough as they come in the interior line. Jaryd Jones-Smith from West Catholic (Pa.) is raw, but has tremendous upside. it will
be interesting to see how he does at an event like this.
