With more than ten offers in front of him, Alpharetta (GA) quarterback Josh Dobbs adds his first…
Dobbs Plans Busy Summer
Joshua Dobbs profile "Our baseball season just ended today," said Dobbs. "We made the first round of the playoffs, but we got put out. "We still had a successful season." Dobbs plays short stop or third base in an effort to save some wear and tear on his arm. The talented quarterback will now transition from throwing to a stationary target to connecting with a few targets on the move. "I only had about three days of spring practice and then of course the spring game," said Dobbs. "I am going to be working with my teammates some this summer to get ready for the season." In addition to throwing to his receivers, Dobbs will be on tour in hopes of learning more about the college programs that have extended offers to join them once his time at Alpharetta High School is done. "I am going to visit all of the places that have offered me that I haven't visited yet," said Dobbs. "Once I have seen all of the schools that have offered, I am going to sit down and make the best decision for myself. "I would like to do it sometime this summer." Relationships will be a major factor for the talented signal caller. "I want to go somewhere that I have a good relationship with the quarterbacks' coach," said Dobbs. "I mean you're going to be spending most of your time with him on the practice field and in the film room, so I want to work with someone I am real comfortable with. "I don't have to stay in the south. I just want to find the right place for me athletically, academically and socially. "I want to find a good school where I feel like I fit in and where they have a good program for my major. "I am thinking about something like aeronautical engineering or something like that." Dobbs denies a favorite and reports that he is eager to get to know more about the schools that are serious about him before making a decision prior to his senior campaign.
