Los Angeles (Calif.) View Park athlete Kendall Tillman (5-9, 162), is flying a bit under the radar, but that hasn’t stopped a couple of schools from dropping by his campus this spring.
“We’ve had Oregon State and San Diego State this week and Washington and New Mexico were here last week,” said Tillman. “I don’t have any offers yet, but there seems to be a lot of interest.”
Tillman can play a myriad of positions, and most of the coaches he’s spoken with said they like him as an athlete.
“I’m getting recruited as an athlete mostly,” said Tillman. “I can play running back, corner, kick returner and punt returner. I play in the slot for my 7on7 team, GameChangers.”
Tillman said he plans to attend a couple of camps, having been invited to a handful.
“I’ve been invited to the Colorado, San Diego State and Washington camps, so I might go to those,” said Tillman.
Tillman will take the SAT next month.
Last fall, he ran for 1,376 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior.
