We've already taken a look at quarterback prospects 1-5 in the Midwest. Here are quarterbacks 6-10. Brian Brunner could be the biggest sleeper in the Midwest.

6. Mike Vlahogeorge 6-4, 220, 4.9 Lafayette (Ind.) Jefferson

Vlahogeorge put up huge numbers in 2002. He had 4,285 yards passing and had 37 touchdown passes. Stock has dropped a bit after the May Evaluation period due to lack of speed and quickness however nobody can question the arm strength of Vlahogeorge. Indiana has offered. Tennessee, Notre Dame, Michigan, Purdue and Indiana are among his current favorites.

7. Sean Lewis 6-7, 220, 4.7 Oak Lawn (Ill.) Richards

The best quarterback in the Land of Lincoln. Had a very good junior season, passing for 2,178 yards and 27 touchdowns. Best signal caller in school history according to legendary head coach Gary Korhonen. Very good athlete and strong arm, Wisconsin and Northwestern have offered a scholarship. 8. Anthony Turner 6-3, 205, 4.6 Dayton (Ohio) Chaminade-Julienne

A ton of pre-May Evaluation hype, Turner was being talked about as being the best quarterback in the Buckeye State. Turner looked good at the (Ann Arbor) Nike Camp but is clearly the #2 quarterback in the state behind Brian Hoyer. Turner is an athletic quarterback with above average arm strength and he can do some damage on the ground with his speed. Nebraska is the only major D-1 school to offer so far.

9. Jordan Steffy 6-2, 210, 4.5 Lancaster (Pa.) Conestoga Valley

Stock has been on steady rise since the May Evaluation period. Passed for 2,178 yards and 21 touchdowns as a junior. Also scored 12 rushing touchdowns. Several big time programs have offered this speedy quarterback with 4.5 speed in the 40-yard dash. Some college recruiters have questioned Steffy’s arm strength but believe he’ll be successful at the next level because he can make so much happen with his feet.

10. Brian Brunner 6-3, 205, 4.85 Hartford, Wisconsin

Brian Brunner should be the poster boy for the Nike Camp’s. While some prospects won’t come for fear of having their stock drop, some prospects attend hoping to improve their stock. Brunner was an unknown Midwest quarterback before showing up at then (Ann Arbor) Nike Camp and left that camp as one of the most talked about prospects at the camp. Brunner has the arm strength to play at the D-1 level and he’ll have several schools watching him closely in 2003.
