Jalen McIntyre stepped right in as a sophomore last season and make an immediate impact for North Central, rushing for 11 touchdowns.
Now, he's looking to ramp up his recruitment and is off to a good start. A few weeks back, he had a nice performances at the Nike Football Training Camp and has good size at 5'11, 190-lbs.
"I've gotten letters from Wisconsin and Iowa," he said. "I plan on going to Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio State this summer for camps."
At these camps, as well as on the field next fall, McIntyre believes fans and observers alike will see an improved version of him from last season.
"I had to adjust to the speed of the game, adjust from middle school, even freshman year. It was much different. I feel like I'm going to be able to move much faster, see things faster. I've been working on my speed, that's the main thing, speed, endurance. I've had a whole off-season running track."
And as recruiting continues to progress for him, McIntyre has a few schools he says he followed growing up.
"Miami-FL, I like them because they had Ray Lewis, Willis McGahee and those guys, and I liked Michigan and Michigan State."
