Hilton Head quarterback Michael Julian is an intriguing 2013 prospect in South Carolina, and the 6-foot-5, 185-pounder impressed last year as a junior.
Julian, a dual-threat quarterback, has seen his recruitment take off this spring, and Tuesday he landed his first offer.
"I received my first offer today, and I just heard from Arizona that they are offering me," Julian stated. "My head coach (B.J. Payne) is good friends with the Arizona staff, and they said they loved my film. They will be coming to my high school next week to meet with my coach."
"To get my first offer is very exciting," he added. "It's both happiness and relief, and I haven't stopped smiling since I got the news. I'm very interested in Arizona, and can't to learn more about the school."
Arizona is not the only school interested in Julian, as he had several top programs visit him during the evaluation period.
"Clemson, Illinois and Toledo have all been in to see me throw," he explained. "I've also heard from Arkansas and a few other schools. I'm going to go on a bus tour this summer to schools like South Carolina, Indiana, Louisville, Kentucky, Ohio State and Cincinnati."
