Kelly Gall, mother of Cle Elum, Wash. ATH Jake Gall, was kind enough to update on the recruiting progress Jake has made so far, the schools contacting him and who might be first to offer Gall a scholarship.

"His favorite schools right now are WSU, Portland State, Eastern Washington, Montana and Boise," she said via email. The schools that visited Cle Elum HS are Washington State, Portland State, Idaho State, Montana, Boise State, Wyoming and Eastern Washington.

"Some of the schools, like WSU, are looking at him for linebacker, and some for defensive back. Others like Portland State and Eastern are looking at him for running back. Jake doesn't really care what position the coaches want him to play."

Gall has a busy, busy summer planned. "Jake, so far, is scheduled to attend the Northwest Elite Combine, The NUC combine (just to get his times verified), the Oregon State Premier camp, WSU camp (one day), and the Portland State Camp," Kelly said. "He also has his team camp at Central Washington. We are trying to go to the camps at the schools that show the highest level of interest.

"They all seem really interested but WSU's Coach (Jeff) Choate told Jake they are ready to pull the trigger."
