Noel Ellis has added offers from Southern Miss, Arizona State, Illinois, Indiana and SMU, according to a source within his family.
The four-star CB from the West Bank of New Orleans has reported more than 20 offers. His father, Noel Ellis, Sr., recently told FoxSportsNext/Scout.com that Auburn and Tennessee headed up the pack of frontrunners to land the lockdown corner from Edna Karr HS on the West Bank of New Orleans.
Texas A&M is also a leader, according to the father.
Ellis started each of the past two seasons for Karr, which reached the 4A finals in both 2011 and 2010. The Cougars finished as runner-up to Franklinton in '10 and Neville last year.
Karr is our preseason No. 1 in 4A for the second straight year. Ellis joins teammates Standish Dobard (four-star TE and Miami commit), '13 DT Titus Charles (first-team all-state), and '14 stars Gerald Willis (DE) and Devante Noil (QB/WR) as key returning starters for head coach Jabbar Juluke.
