The Butler Bulldogs are known primarily as that mid-major program that made it all the way to the NCAA D1 basketball title game. But they also play football too as part of the Pioneer Football League, and Wednesday night Butler put a call out west to Cle Elum, Wash. to notify Jake Gall that they were ready to offer him a scholarship.

"Tonight, Jake just got his first offer from Butler University," Gall's Father Kelly told Scout.com. "Coach Kenan Smith called him told him the good news."

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete is being recruited by Butler as a linebacker, although he's also very skilled as a running back.
