A number of top prospects out of the South announced their decisions over the past week and we take a look back at those right here.

May 29

Ali Groves - 3-star CB - 5-10/175 - Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson
Committed To: South Carolina
Quick Hitter: Cornerback with quick feet, long arms, and good ball skills. Needs to get bigger to play more physical.

May 31

Ira Denson - 3-star OG - 6-4/320 - Madison (Fla.) Madison County
Committed To: Florida State
Quick Hitter: Shined at the NFTC in Orlando and his stock rose immediately in recruiting. Very good interior OL with great base and good leg drive.

LaChaston Smith - 3-star MLB - 6-1/210 - Statesville (N.C.) South Iredell
Committed To: Virginia
Quick Hitter: Very physical linebacker who is right around 6-feet tall. He plays downhill and is a good leader in the middle.

June 1

Frank Herron - 4-star DE - 6-5/245 - Memphis (Tn.) Central
Committed To: LSU
Quick Hitter: A bigger end that can run. He still has room to add weight and will only get better as he improves his technique. A lot of upside.

Uriah LeMay - 3-star WR - 6-2/195 - Matthews (N.C.) Butler
Committed To: Georgia
Quick Hitter: Physical wide receiver that can make the tough catch in traffic across the middle. He has improved his quickness over the past year as well.

June 2

Cameron Fraser - 3-star OT - 6-5/295 - Phenix City (Ala.) Central
Committed To: South Florida
Quick Hitter: When talking upside, that is what it is all about here. He has only played one year of football and he has made so much progress. Fraser could continue to add offers this fall.

June 3

Reggie Davis - 3-star WR - 5-11/185 - Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln
Committed To: Georgia
Quick Hitter: It is all about speed for Davis. When he passed a defender he is very tough to catch. He will be used at receiver and on special teams.

June 4

Ryan Buchanan - 3-star QB - 6-4/210 - Jackson (Miss.) Jackson Prep
Committed To: Ole Miss
Quick Hitter: A quarterback that can do it with his arm and his legs. He surveys the field well, he stands tall in the pocket, and he has shown good arm strength.

June 5

Alvonte Bell - 4-star DE - 6-5/225 - Miramar (Fla.) Everglades
Committed To: Kentucky
Quick Hitter: A very athletic defensive end who could play tight end or outside linebacker on the next level as well. He is lean and needs to bulk up, but has great range and quickness. Kennard Swanson - 3-star DT - 6-0/225 - Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson
Committed To: LSU
Quick Hitter: A very good defensive lineman in high school, but committed to LSU as a fullback. He has good feet, he is very strong, and he will be clearing the way for Tiger tailbacks.
