"Ole Miss is ahead of MSU right now," Bouldin said. "I just feel more comfortable with them. I'm building a better relationship with their coaches and feeling more love."
Bouldin had a chance to take in Ole Miss elite camp last weekend.
"It was good. I did pretty good. I feel like I should've done better in pass blocking. But overall, I feel I did well."
The Canton, Miss., product got a chance to work out under Ole Miss offensive line coach Matt Luke.
"I like his intensity. I like his passion for the game and his love for Ole Miss. I love that about him. He loves his school and loves the game of football. Coach Luke is just so intense and works you really hard. I wanted to see how hard they work their players, and I felt like they push you to your limit and get the best out of you. That's what impressed me the most about Ole Miss."
The camp went a little better than expected.
"I thought it went a little better because I got a chance to talk to all of the coaches, and they showed me a lot of love. It went better than I even anticipated. I got a chance to talk to Davion Johnson some more. We've become real close. He was just telling me how he feels about Ole Miss and that it's the place to be. Davion says we could become the top offensive tackle tandem in the SEC. We just have a lot in common off of the field too."
What did the Ole Miss coaches relay to Daronte?
"They just told me they like me as a person. They watched the film from the camp and told me they loved my techniques and how I finish strong on each play. They like how hard I work, and they're going to try and recruit me to get better and send me to the league."
Mississippi State will receive Scout.com's No. 76 ranked offensive tackle's next visit.
"I'm going over there on Monday for a camp. They've also shown me a lot of love, and I want to go work out under their offensive line coach."
A new school has tried to get in the picture.
"Alabama has been calling me a lot lately and keeping up with me on Facebook. They wanted me to come over there Sunday for their three-day camp, but I can't make it over there until June 16th. Coach Saban wants me to meet him in person. They said they were probably going to offer me over there at their camp."
Southern Miss will also receive a visit.
"Southern Miss has been staying in contact a lot. I'm going over there to their camp on June 9th."
