Mosley likes LSU, Georgia Tech
Torrance Mosley has speed. He started in the slot on offense last year for Dutchtown, and he did well at the Class 5A outdoor state track meet held at LSU this spring. "I ran on the 4 X 200 relay team that won state," said Mosley. "I ran on the 4 X 100, too. We were in first place during part of the 4 X 100 but a runner from Byrd passed us up. We had decent times in both of the relays. "I'm not sure how many catches I had last year. I had four touchdowns." Mosley is moving from receiver to running back this year. He steps into the shoes of five-star Dutchtown product Landon Collins, the safety/running back and Alabama signee. "I'm hearing from LSU, Georgia Tech and Mississippi State," said Mosley. "I'm also hearing from some other state schools like Grambling and Southern. I'm getting the most interest from LSU and Georgia Tech. "I like LSU and Georgia Tech. My mom is going to LSU this fall as a student. My family - we're built around LSU. I like the recruiting coordinator (Frank Wilson). He showed me a lot of love last year when he was recruiting Landon." Mosley said he likes the coaching staff at Georgia Tech. He is planning a trip to Atlanta to camp with the Yellow Jackets, and he'll camp at LSU next month. Last weekend, he was named Overall MVP at the Lafayette (La.) National Underclassmen Combine. He feels like LSU could be his future destination. "All I need (to land an offer from the Tigers) is to improve my grades a little, and to get a little bigger," said Mosley.
