Meadows Waiting Word
For West Chester (OH) Lakota West offensive lineman Kyle Meadows, Sunday's camp performance will determine the path he'll take going forward with the recruiting process. What did Ohio State coaches tell the 6-foot-6, 275-pound offensive tackle? "The coaches said I was the best overall lineman in camp," said Meadows. "But they need to talk and see how my evaluation goes and then they'll call me soon." What would an offer from the Buckeyes mean to Meadows? "It's just another offer to me," said Meadows. "But it will definitely set up my turning point and how much faster I'll make my decision." Besides the Buckeyes, Meadows has three other programs high on his list. "Right now there could be three or four schools," said Meadows. "The three right now are Illinois, Indiana and West Virginia and my visit to West Virginia is next Monday. If I get an offer from Ohio State, it will probably change some things around." Reasons for Meadows interest in the three programs center around two things. "West Virginia has one of the strongest mechanical engineering programs in the country and I could possible start as a true freshman. "Indiana is for the same reasons and Illinois has the whole package as they are like a public Ivy League school."
