Claude George reported his first two offers -- from a pair of in-state FCS programs.
"Northwestern State and McNeese State have offered," related George in a written message.
George has been a starter at Acadiana for head coach Ted Davidson since his sophomore year. He helped the Rams to a state championship two years ago, and the Lafayette-area program (campus located in Scott, Louisiana) reached the second round of the 5A playoffs last year before getting edged by Archbishop Rummel.
George lined up at defensive end during his junior campaign. He could play end or outside linebacker in college.
He recently camped with the local Ragin' Cajuns.
