TraVon Chapman, 6-foot-2, 205-pounds, is one of Ohio's top 2013 quarterback prospects, and the Kent Roosevelt four-star has set a date to announce his college choice.
"I will be making my college choice on July 1st," Chapman stated Friday afternoon. "I'm down to three schools, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Wisconsin. I'm probably just going to call the coaches and let them know, and I don't think there will be any formal announcement."
Chapman holds ten total offers currently, including Northwestern, Arizona, Illinois and Boston College, in addition to the three schools remaining on his list.
As a junior, Chapman threw for over 2,200 yards, completing 64% of his passes. He threw 26 touchdown passes, with only four interceptions. He also rushed for nearly 700 yards and scored eight touchdowns on the ground.
