Rod Crayton attended the Mississippi State football recently. To hear how his experience went and much more, read below.
"So far the only camp I have been to is Mississippi State," added
Rod Crayton
. "The had an OL/DL camp and it went good. Me and
Anthony Jennings
went down there together."
How did the experience go?
"It was good. I learned a lot from Coach Wilson. I already knew a lot of the techniques they use but I did pick up on some new ones as well. We did a bunch of one on ones which was really fun. I enjoyed that the most."
What stood out the most about the Dogs?
"I liked the one on ones and talking to coach Wilson. I learned a lot from coach Wilson. He really likes me a lot. He said I did really good in the drills. Coach Mullen also told me that he would be keeping up with me throughout my senior season."
Where does Crayton camp at next?
"I am going to Tennessee, Clemson, and Georgia."
Rod talks what he likes about each school.
"I got an offer from Tennessee earlier, and I like coach Angelo. Their DL coach is real nice and they have some really nice facilities at Tennessee. I really like it up there."
"This will be my second trip to Clemson. I went last year with
Darrion Hutcherson
on a visit. They came to my school and got my transcripts this spring and said they would be getting back in touch with me about an offer."
Georgia has not offered me, and I have not talked to anyone from Georgia recently. I just want to take a look around and see their campus and see how their coaches are."
Who is coming after Rod the hardest?
"I would say Tennessee, Mississippi State, Arkansas, LSU, and some smaller schools like Troy and Southern Miss."
What is going on with LSU?
"Coach Haley for LSU came to watch me for spring ball and we talk a lot."
And Arkansas?
"I talk to coach Peoples all of the time. He came down here a couple of times in the spring to watch me play. He likes my work ethic. He says I dominate the middle."
