Tim Brady has had a fast-paced offseason, hitting camps, combines and everything in between in search of scholarship offers and individual improvement.
As if it were fitting, he will also be changing schools and location.
"I had to leave (Friendship Collegiate Academy) due to a promotion that my father got at work, so we moved to Maryland," he said. "I can't go to a (Washington) D.C. public school if I live in Maryland, so I will be going to St. Frances Academy in Baltimore."
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound quarterback will be thrust into a new offense with the Panthers, who are coming off a 9-3 2011 campaign.
"We will be running a spread offense and we have a lot of talent," said Brady. "I have big, rangy wideouts all above 6-foot-3 that can move.
"We played Good Counsel (Olney, MD) at the Ravens stadium in 7on7 and only lost by a touchdown - so we have a lot of great talent."
Not only will Brady have a stranglehold on the QB job at St. Frances, but he will dabble at defensive back as well.
"I actually played some corner last year (at Friendship), but got hurt before they every used the package I was in," he said with a laugh.
As for his recruiting, Brady is still sitting on a Temple offer after shining at camp there. He also took in a session at Boston College and will camp at Ohio State this weekend.
