Westerville-South (OH) safety Marcus Ball talks about this past week of camp as well as his favorite schools.

Westerville-South (OH) safety Marcus Ball had planned to head to Columbus to attend Ohio State's camp Saturday, but instead changed his mind.

"I didn't go to Ohio State's camp today. I did go to Michigan State on Wednesday. That was great! I like the school and what it has to provide academically and on the field. I also talked to Coaches (Mark) Dantonio, (Pat) Narduzzi and (Mike) Tressel."

Ball says that he doesn't plan on attending anymore camps this summer. With over 15 offers in the bag, the safety is ready to start eliminating schools.

"I have some schools in mind of narrowing down my list to, but I'm not close to committing."

With his senior year approaching, Ball says that his initial plan is to take all of his official visits, but that could easily change.

"I want to take all five, but if something just comes to me and feels correct there will be no need."

So who's on his official visit list?

"Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Arizona State, USC and either Michigan State or Penn State."

Ball says that those schools are his current favorites. He does add that there are certain schools he's been talking to that if they offer, they could move into that list.

"LSU, Alabama and Oregon!"
