Holley Making Camp Rounds
6-foot-6, 219 pound rising junior Jeremy Holley has been making his way around the Midwest. The quarterback has camped at Bowling Green, Toledo and Michigan and spent this past weekend at Ohio State. "I feel like I did a pretty good job at camp, mostly with one on ones. I struggled on a couple of sprint out on individual drills, but those are things that can be fixed. Overall I feel like I did a good job today." Next up, Holley is hoping to get to Wisconsin and West Virginia. But back to the Buckeyes and Wolverines, the QB truly enjoyed experiences both campuses. "Both Michigan and Ohio State have a lot of tradition. Both coaching staffs are really dedicated, great coaches. I had a blast at each one of them." Holley doesn't have any offers yet, but is hoping that a strong junior season will bring some in for him. As for this upcoming season, there are several things he's hoping to improve on. "Last year I had a lot of interceptions, so ball security is a big thing for me. Another thing, I only had 21 touchdowns. I want to add a lot more to that. I'm going to 30, 35. I want to be more of a leader for my team. I want to lead us to the playoffs and ultimately to a state title." When he is ready to choose a school in the future, he knows what will be some of the most important factors in that decision. "I'm looking for a system that fits me. Quite honestly, Ohio State might not be the best system for me because, I'm not your genuinely running quarterback, I'm a pocket passer, so you need to take that into account."
