Bunting Turning Heads at Camps
On Monday, Ian Bunting continued his camp tour with a stop at Wisconsin, and the 6'6, 200-lb prospect received good feedback from the Badgers. "It went really well," he said. "They said they were really impressed. Also, they said that they're going to recruit me as a tight end." With two more years to go, Bunting has the time and the frame to grow into that position if that's what schools desire. At the other camps he's attended this summer, he has shown pass catching ability and the athleticism that comes from being a two-sport (basketball) standout at Hinsdale Central. "I think I did the best at Michigan State out of all the camps," he explained. "They did show interest too." Bunting does not have any offers yet, but after what he saw of Madison the last few days, if Wisconsin ends up being one of them, the Badgers will be a tough team to beat. "I really liked the campus, especially because it was right on the lake, and the coaches were really helpful and they seemed like they have a great program over there."
