Smith, 6-foot-1, 180-pounds, went through drills effortlessly and also posted an impressive 4.6 forty-yard dash time. He is a player to watch for the class of 2015.
"I did really good and I enjoyed seeing the facilities at Ohio State," Smith stated. "I'm one of the younger guys here, and it was my first time in this type of atmosphere, but I really thought I did well. The talent was really good, but I felt like I fit in really well here."
"Being at Ohio State was awesome, and it has always been my dream to play here," he added. "I spoke to the runningbacks coach, Stan Drayton, and he told me to keep working hard. I also spoke to Coach (Luke) Fickell, and he was very positive toward me. The coaches really worked us hard and I liked that."
After playing varsity football as a freshman last season, Smith is set to take his game to a higher level this season. Even though only a 2015 prospect, Smith is starting to attract recruiting interest.
"I'm hearing from Toledo and Ohio State right now, but my coach said other schools have contacted him about me," he explained. "I need to continue to work hard and have a big year this season. I'm looking forward to playing my season this year, and proving myself as a player."
