A sleeper who was just emerging during June's camp season has earned his first offer and jumped on it, as Tyree Waller is now a Central Michigan Chippewa.
"Tyree was just offered by Dan Enos and accepted it about five minutes ago," Lincoln head coach Chris Westfall said.
Waller had camped at Michigan, Toledo, and other places, and was close to receiving other offers, but Mount Pleasant is where he found his home.
"This is where he wanted to be, so he didn't waste any time making his decision," Westfall said.
Waller is slated to play safety and brings size to the position at 6'0, 195-lbs.
