Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft kicker Jordan Dascalo is keeping himself busy with camps this spring and summer, and he’s confident his first offer is around the corner.
“I’ve felt my performances were great, and what you do in practice translates in to what you do in crunch time,” said Dascalo. “Recruiting is going good and I’ve been to LSU, Ohio State, Oregon and Utah.”
Two schools in particular have caught Dascalo’s eye.
“Utah and LSU are looking pretty good and most schools are looking at me right now as a kicker and kickoff guy, but I’d like to do all three (including punter) if possible,” said Dascalo. “I’m a kicker before a punter, but I look at myself as one who does it all. I want to be an all-around guy.”
Dascalo said Utah seems to be the closest to offering him.
“I’ve been talking with Coach (Jay) Hill at Utah and he was really impressed and he’s going to talk to Coach Whittingham,” said Dascalo. “I may take a visit back to Utah and to LSU.”
