Clark Has Four Offers
At nearly 6'2 and weighing 210-lbs, Direll Clark is a big, physical back who had a good junior season, making the All-State team. Currently, the bruising back sits with four scholarship offers as well. "I have Purdue, Western Kentucky, Eastern Illinois and North Dakota," Clark reported. The Boilermakers were the first Big Ten school to extend an offer, and Clark plans on giving West Lafayette a closer look. "I feel pretty good about it right now. This summer, my mom and I are trying to plan [a visit]." Clark has also hit the camp circuit, focusing mainly on in-state schools. "I went to the Northern Illinois camp and the Northwestern camp this summer. It was a showcase at Northwestern. A lot of schools were up there." Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa are also showing interest right now, and with the promise of more offers on the horizon, he is in no hurry to make a decision. "I'm going to wait on it."
