“So far, I have heard from Virginia Tech, Penn State, Wisconsin, Miami, James Madison, and UMass,” said Jaylen Bradshaw.
One school is pursuing the 6-foot, 170-pound wide receiver more aggressively that the others.
“Virginia Tech is sending me the most mail,” Bradshaw said. “I am going to their camp on July 14 and hopefully they will offer me.”
Bradshaw knows his strengths as a football player.
“I am more of a speed guy at receiver…speed kills,” he said. “I don’t worry about my opponent being bigger than me. I just try to use my speed to get around them and do my job.”
Although it is early, Bradshaw has already thought about what he is looking for in a school.
“I will really be looking at the offense and how much they throw the ball,” he said. “I want to go a school that passes a lot.”
The rising junior played a supporting role in the Tigers’ offense last year, but has big goals for the 2012 season.
“I really want to get some exposure this year –hopefully get my name out and pick some offers,” he said.
