"I'm just getting ready for the season and attending a few camps here and there," he tells Scout.com.
"I really enjoyed the UCLA camp because it was a lot of great competition and I impressed the coaches with my ability to cover receivers and play in space," he shares.
"I feel that I left a great impression on the coaching staff and I'm supposed to hear more from them within a few weeks, so I'm looking forward to that.
"The Arizona camp was very good, even though it was hot. I really got the chance to showcase my talent there. They showed us a video of the future stadium; it would be really exciting to be able to play there."
Right now, he's working on getting better for next season.
"I've been working on putting on a few extra pounds and also my speed and quickness, since I'll be starting at linebacker and tailback."
