Scouting Report - RB Charles Pierre

Orlando, Florida tailback Charles Pierre is flying under the radar but as soon as he qualifies, there will be several schools looking to land this talented tailback from the Sunshine State.

Orlando (Fla.) Lake Highland Prep running back Charles Pierre doesn’t have any offers now but once he gets his studies in order, scholarship offers should flood his mailbox.

Pierre is undersized at 5-foot-8 but he is a thick 202-pounds and he runs a consistent 4.3-40 yard dash.

There are several Big Ten schools that have expressed interest in Pierre and most are waiting on test results.

Pierre looks polished on film. He has rushed for 4,400 yards and 55 touchdowns in the past two seasons and looks like a no brainer D-1 running back on film.

The first thing that sticks out when evaluating Pierre is his straight-line speed. If he gets the corner, Charles takes it to the house.

Pierre’s initial burst through the line of scrimmage is impressive. He’s a fearless tailback that can run in between the tackles and he is quick enough to run outside, get to the corner and turn it up the field

Charles is slippery. A lot of tackles were missed at first contact when Pierre hit the hole and he loves to bounce to the outside. He shows a good forward lean and he’s always looking for extra yardage.
