The state of Mississippi has put together a solid group of college prospects for the 2013 signing class. While it is considered a bit of a down year in the Magnolia State, there are some prospects stepping to the forefront to prove that there are still some quality players making a name for themselves with some hard work on the camp circuit this summer.

Quinton Lane of Ackerman, Mississippi recently made a move up in the Scout.com rankings. Now ranked a three star as the #87 safety nationally, Lane has the chance to rise even higher with a solid senior campaign.

Lane's first offer came from Ole Miss and the Rebels remain a favorite.

Several other programs took notice of the talented Lane after he posted multiple sub 4.4 40s this summer.

Lane measured in at 6-0, 175 pounds at Tupelo. Despite a tender hamstring, he ran 4.31 in the 40, recorded a 4.14 short shuttle and had a broad jump of 9-10.

Arkansas State followed the Rebels lead and offered shortly after Lane nearly matched his Tupelo times at the Ole Miss elite camp.

Lane plans to camp later this month at Louisiana and Mississippi State in hopes of earning offers from those programs.

Wayne County offensive lineman Devin Farrior picked up an offer from Southern Miss after a strong showing at the Golden Eagles' camp.

Farrior has been a bit of a road warrior taking in several camps throughout the SEC.

The talented offensive guard made a name for himself at Alabama and had many people wondering why he did not have several offers namely from his in state programs.

Farrior has done his part to put his talent in front of college recruiters. Now firmly on the recruiting radar, several programs are keeping a close eye on Devin during the 2012 season.

Pearl standout Evan Osbourne at one time was expected to be the quarterback of the future for the Pirates, but he has found a home in Coach John Perry's secondary.

Osbourne has drawn rave reviews at every college camp he has attended and appears to be on the verge of playing his way into more college offers.

The talented defender currently holds offers from Arkansas State, Louisiana and Southern Miss.

While the Golden Eagles look to be an early favorite, don't be surprised if SEC schools come calling before signing day.

Oxford High quarterback Parker Adamson has put in a ton of windshield time this summer in an effort to increase his profile as a college prospect.

With an offer in hand from Tennessee-Martin, it is a bit surprising that Adamson does not have more options.

Adamson has camped all over the SEC including stops at both Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

With the size college recruiters are looking for, look for Adamson to remain a name of interest with several programs as the fill out their class later in the process.

Amory wide receiver Dario Robinson holds offers from Alcorn State, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennesse, South Alabama and Tennessee-Martin.

Robinson is not blazing fast, but it is hard to argue with his production.

Dario had nearly 2,200 receiving yards in 2011 which made him one of the top gainers in the country.

Several schools have shown an interest in him, but most of the bigger schools have elected to simply follow him for now.

Robinson measured in at Tupelo at 5-9, 175. The 175 pounds came as a bit of a surprise.

Some will say he is a product of a pass happy system in Amory, but it is hard to argue against a player who averaged nearly 150 receiving yards per game as a junior.
