Three-star tight end prospect Jeremy Kerr (St. Petersburg, Fla.) has had a busy summer camping. This ‘Canes commit camped with Miami, Georgia and Florida.
“I had a lot of fun at Georgia and Florida,” Kerr said. “I don’t want people to read into the wrong way. It was just about getting out and competing. We don’t throw the ball and we don’t have a 7-on-7 team at my high school. So I wanted to get some reps against some great competition at Georgia and Florida. I really had a fun time at both schools. It was great to travel and see new places. But mainly, it gave me a chance to compete against some great players.”
Kerr, 6-foot-6 and 245-pounds, camped at Georgia’s Dawg Night and Florida’s Friday Night Lights after he committed to Miami. He insists nothing has changed with his pledge to the Hurricanes.
“No, I am still committed to Miami,” Kerr said. “I am solid and all is good.”
Kerr is the No. 24 ranked tight end in the nation.
