Florida OL is one to watch
Everyone talks about Mason Cole -- a national recruit in the 2014 class -- when it comes to the offensive line at East Lake High. However, Cole's not alone. Shane Fagan is a very good player on that unit as well. At 6-foot-2 and 260 pounds, Fagan talked about what separates him from other prep linemen. "I think I make very few mental mistakes which allows me to be in the right position to make good blocks," Fagan said. Fagan has caught the attention of a few schools that have started recruiting him and he visited two of them this past summer. "I was up at Lehigh and Lafayette in mid-July," he said. "I didn't do a camp at Lafayette - just toured and talked to coaches. Lehigh went well. I worked hard and I think the coach took a liking to me. No offers though." Fagan, who also took in a camp at Florida State last month, is still waiting for his first offer but is being recruited by the schools he saw this summer and more. "Both of the school I mentioned before, and The Citadel," he said about schools recruiting him. The standout lineman talked about what he'll be looking for in a school. "Good engineering, good football, and a fun environment," he said.
