He may not get the same amount of love as Foreman, but Brandon Arnold is a very talented player in his own right. He has excellent ball skills, can cover a lot of ground and is physical in run support as well. He had a very good spring/summer playing for the 1925 All Stars and is definitely among the state’s top safety prospects.
On the recruiting front, Arnold has double digit offers but is essentially down to two schools.
“I like Michigan State and California,” Arnold said. “I haven’t set up any official visits yet but those are the two schools I’m planning to visit. We have a couple of bye’s during our season so hopefully I can take those visits during the year.
“These are the main two schools I’m focusing on and I think there’s a good chance I could make my decision after my visits. I haven’t seen either campus yet so I’m looking forward to getting out there and learning more about each program.”
As for what he likes about each school;
“Michigan State has nice tradition, they always have a lot of talent, I like the coaching staff, the area is nice and I like the academics,” Arnold said. “I’ve never been there before but I’ve had friends and family who have visited and they all said it was a great place.
“Cal offered about a month ago and I’ve always liked them. I wanted to take an unofficial visit this summer but never had a chance to get out there. They have a strong program and are very good academically so I have a lot of interest there. Right now, our team is in the middle of double days and looking really good so I’m excited four our season to start.”
