High School: Huntsville (Tx.)
This kid is all excitement on the field and by the looks of it he will have developed elite level speed by the time he gets to be a senior in high school, he has already been clocked with a 10.8 100-meter time and is only going to get better. He was eased in to the offense last season as a freshman, but look for his role to be expanded in 2012 as he should be a main component. He possesses some of the 'wow' moves, but could also end up playing any number of positions as he matures.
High School: Hebron (Tx.)
No freshman grabbed my eye more this year than Rogers. First off he did not look like a freshman at all. He was physically mature and looked like he belonged playing against elite level 5A competition, which is exactly what he did. He played left tackle all season against seasoned vets and earned Freshman All-American status and Honorable Mention All-District honors. Schools are already coming with offers.
High School: Celina (Tx.)
Elliott had nice size for a freshman and battled through to win the starting job. He put up more than 2,000 yards of total offense and helped lead Celina to a great season. His 22 touchdowns through the air show that he can beat you with his arm and his nine touchdowns on the ground show that he can he can pull it down and beat you on the ground as well. He led Celina to the State 7-on-7 Championship this summer.
