Heading into his senior season, Chris Board
is eager to step up as a leader on his team.
"(I want) to go out, play well, and win every game we play," he said.
"(I want) to get better and make sure our team is going the right way."
As far as his recruitment goes, Board says he's just recently started to talk to a few schools.
"I talked to a couple of schools, like UF, UCF, and Navy. Those are the top three."
Board says he likes the local schools: Florida, Florida State, and UCF, the most. Central Florida is the main school he'd love an offer from.
"It's really close to my family and it's a really good school," he said.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound athlete is quite aware of what he can bring to a program, and he's eager to highlight those skills this fall and get the attention of the hometown UCF Knights.
"I can hit really hard and I'm a really good cover guy," Board said.
"(I want to) really have a good season, win a lot of games, and get recruited by some local schools."
