The Favorite:  Blue Ridge
The defending state champs return Arizona State recruit Chans Cox (LB/RB) and talented Quarterback Skyler Hill.  The Paul Moro coached Yellowjackets are not new to the favorites role.

The Challenger:  Snowflake
The Lobos proved to be Blue Ridge's biggest challenge in last year's regular season.  Like Blue Ridge, they return most of their key players.  Dual threat Chase Walden returns at QB.  In 2011, Walden threw for over 1500 yards and added another 995 on the ground.  

On the Rise:  Buckeye
2011 ended in a playoff loss to eventual champ Blue Ridge.  UofA recruit DeAndre Miller (LB) looks to take Buckeye to the next level this season.
