FOX Sports Next has some of the best performances in the state of Kentucky from this weekend. High schools made their season debuts and many players didn’t fail to impress.
Nacarius Fant – WR – Bowling Green High – Jr. – Fant had nine receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns for Bowling Green against Allen County-Scottsville. The Purples won the game 45-0.
Logan Woodside – QB – Franklin County High – Sr. – The Toledo commit had 303 yards in the game while only throwing 10 passes and completing seven. He also had four touchdowns through the air and two on the ground in a 62-41 win over Nelson County.
Korey Mosley – RB – Christian County High – Sr. – In a victory over Madisonville, Mosley had 19 carries for 205 yards and two touchdowns to go with two catches and 98 yards.
Wade Holtsclaw – ATH – John Hardin High – Sr. – In leading John Hardin to 44-27 win over Henry Clay, Holtsclaw rushed 10 times for 173 yards and a touchdown.
Kyle Bolin – QB – Lexington Catholic – Sr. Bolin threw for 213 yards on 17 of 31 passes and three touchdowns. Catholic defeated Bell County 21-7.
Dalyn Dawkins – RB – Trinity – Sr. – Dawkins carried the ball 18 times for 122 yards and two touchdowns in Trinity’s 52-23 win over Brentwood Academy.
Travis Wright – QB – Trinity – Sr. – Wright was proficient through the air with 21 of 31 for 291 yards and three touchdowns in their blowout over Brentwood Academy.
James Quick – WR – Trinity – Sr. – Quick, the five-star receiver, caught eight balls for 119 yards and one touchdown in Trinity’s victory over Brentwood.
Devin Hayes – QB – Bowling Green – Jr. – In his first start, Devin Hayes threw for 271 yards and four touchdowns on 21 of 35 passing.
Shane Fields – WR/DB – Lou Eastern – Sr. – Fields started off his season with three receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown. He also picked up another interception on the defensive side of the ball.
