Kendell Beckwith is the pre-season top prospect out of Louisiana and he does not plan on giving that spot up.
"It feels great to be ranked that high and I now look forward to having a great season and holding on to that title," Beckwith told Scout.
Being recognized as the best in Louisiana in August is only going to help him over the next 3-4 months.
"I take a lot of pride in being the top prospect in the state and it is going to make me play that much harder than what I already play. It will have a good affect on my season."
he 6-foot-2, 220 pound defensive end out of East Feliciana Parish Enrichme still has Alabama and LSU on top of his list in recruiting.
