John Franklin (Plantation, Fla./South Plantation) is one of the top prospects from south Florida. Franklin, 6-foot-1 and 175-pounds, is a very good athlete that is playing quarterback.
“Fall practices have gone well,” Franklin said. “We are looking good. At this point, we are just itching to hit someone else. We haven’t played a game since the end of last season. We didn’t have one this spring.
“As far as my development things are going well. I am improving at QB and that’s where most teams have offered me.”
In fact, according to Franklin he has 14 offers in all and every team have offered him at that position.
Air Force was the first team that offered him. Georgia State was his most recent. He also have offers from Temple, Bowling Green, Florida International, Western Kentucky, and Navy.
“Teams like Wisconsin, Florida State, Iowa State, South Florida and UCF are all recruiting me but haven’t offered,” Franklin said.
“I know at this time I will make official visits to Temple and Bowling Green. I know I will go see them. I am just waiting to see who else offers and then go from there. Right now I am open and will give everyone a chance. I don’t want to rush the process.”
