Tyren Jones (5'9/200) of Walton High School is a running back committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. His Walton Raiders opened the season Saturday night against perennial power Brookwood.
In the end it was too much Jones for the Broncos to handle as Jones reeled off 305 yards and five touchdowns on a host of spectacular runs.
Jones has subtle moves and his quick to his top speed with an excellent change of direction. He has two of the most important qualities a running back can have in droves, balance and vision. Jones sees the holes and can get a defender off balance and burst through any arm tackles.
Here is a look at Jones' big night as the Brookwood Broncos are likely still having nightmares about seeing the front of, and inevitably the back of, Jones No. 1 jersey.
