Daniel Hearing From New Programs
Tustin (Calif.) linebacker Marshaun Daniel had a busy summer at different combines and camps, and is now hearing from a few new programs. "I've been talking with UNLV and Nevada. At UNLV, I like the academics, the environment, the coaches. Both are looking to offer soon, as is Northern Arizona. They are all close to home; I don't want to go too far," he said. The 5'11", 210 lbs. prospect hasn't had the chance to take any visits quite yet, but expects to after his senior season. For now, Daniel is ensuring he does his part to help the Tillers win the title for the second season in a row. "My speed and strength have both gotten a lot better since last year. I'm still working to put on more weight by the end of the season," he said. Daniel is one of the team's leaders and helped the team kick off the season with a solid 48-13 win over Eastvale (Calif.) Roosevelt. "We've been working hard to make sure we are always ready. Practices are tough, but we are getting in shape and working through it. We definitely have the talent to come back and win it all again," he said.
