Vols offer Terrence Alexander

Terrence Alexander

Junior CB Terrence Alexander from John Curtis Christian pulled in his second BCS offer this month when the Tennessee Volunteers pulled the trigger...

Tulane, Ole Miss, Stanford and Tennessee have all extended offers to star junior CB Terrence Alexander (5-10, 175, 4.42 to 4.50 speed).

Bandele Alexander, Terrence's father, confirmed the Volunteers' offer yesterday to FOXSportsNEXT.com.

Terrence was scheduled to speak with the Tennessee secondary coach last night.

Much more to come on this breaking story.

Last week, Terrence was credited with an impressive seven tackles in John Curtis Christian's whopping 33-3 rout of Tampa Plant, the defending 8A Florida champ.

As a result John Curtis moved up to No. 6 in the nation. The Patriots return to the field tonight at home (Muss Bertolino Stadium in Kenner, which serves as one of two "home" venues for Curtis) vs. 5A East Saint John (0-1).

East Saint John, which is located near New Orleans between LaPlace and Reserve, had its campus ravaged by Hurricane Isaac.

John Curtis and East Saint John have played each other during the recent years - including a game held shortly after Hurricane Katrina - and the Patriots are dedicating the first $1,000 from tonight's gate to East Saint John.
