Robertson is One to Watch
Korey Robertson profile "We are having a pretty good season," said Robertson. "I am doing pretty good so far and I feel like I can do more. "We play Cleveland East Side this week. We're going to be ready. It's just another game on the schedule, so we're just ready to go play." Several programs have reached out to the talented Robertson over the course of the past few weeks, but a quartet of programs appears to be the most serious. "I am hearing from Mississippi State, LSU, Florida State and Ole Miss mainly," said Robertson. "Nobody has offered yet, but I feel like Mississippi State or LSU might be the first school to offer me. "They send a lot of good mail. "Coach Hugh Freeze from Ole Miss sent me a handwritten letter the other day." Robertson reports that he made a summer camping trip to Mississippi State this year. "Things went good at the camp," said Robertson. "Coach Melvin Smith is recruiting me, but I haven't talked to him since the camp. "All of the schools have invited me to come to all of their games, but I haven't had the chance yet. "I am going to try to go to game this weekend, but I am not sure which one yet." Robertson plans to major in business and has a real interest in the programs of the SEC. "I like Mississippi State and LSU, but all of my options are still open," said Robertson. "I could stay close to home, but that doesn't really matter that much to me. "I am just going to try to find the best place for me."
