Rigg Picking Up Early Interest

Springboro (Ohio) tight end / defensive end Jordan Rigg has already made a few game day visits and is hearing from several other college programs early. We check in with the 2014 two-way prospect for the latest in his recruitment.

Standing 6-foot-5, 235-pound and playing on both sides of the ball could open several doors for Springboro (Ohio) tight end / defensive end Jordan Rigg.

Rigg, who has already made a few game day visits updates FOX Sports NEXT on those visits and who else has been in contact.

"I visited Ohio State for a game day recruiting visit already," said Rigg. "I also went to the Cincinnati game when they played Pittsburgh and have also visited West Virginia and Illinois. I'm planning on visiting Notre Dame when they play Stanford and Kentucky (Sept. 29) and Toledo (Oct. 6) this season.

"Schools like Michigan State, Michigan, Northwestern, Indiana, Akron, Ball State, UMass and Western Kentucky have also invited me for game day visits and I'm going to try and make a couple of those visits."

This past summer Rigg hoped to open some eyes with a busy camp schedule and has seen positive results in the amount of correspondence he's receiving back from coaches.

"I attended camps at Bowling Green, Miami Ohio, Cincinnati, Illinois, Ohio and Ohio State," said Rigg. "I've been getting lots of letters and invites to games since camp. Illinois has been sent me a lot of stuff and coaches from Cincinnati and a few others are always sending me messages on Facebook."

Here are some early highlights of Rigg in action from this season.
